Lets play ball

We borrowed from the Toy Library a kiwi cricket set. The boys have had a blast while playing with us. We have simple rules. Five bowls each unless you get out and everyone takes turns. We are working hard at teaching the boys to share and also be gracious in defeat. No better time than now to teach them not everyone can win and everyone can have fun playing together!

We have this for a whole month- hopefully we can get more more sunny days to play. Its been a great game for the whole family.

I have made a start on opening my Advent swap gifts. Exciting Eeek!!!

The boys kindly sorted out all the gifts in numerical order when the package arrived...

...... and the best part being the bubble wrap!

Every year (since having the boys) our Christmas tree goes up on the 1st December and we pack it down on the 31st. A whole month of Christmas!!

While we visited friends a few weeks ago they had paint brushes and water the boys loved it. We found some paint brushes in the garage. We have plenty of fence for the boys to pretend paint and the weather has been really warm.
