I have for quite a while now wanted a dolls house and never having had one when I was a little girl I brought myself a dolls house. I had Master B ask why someone had forgotten to buy me one when I was little (adorable!). It was second hand from Trade Me and it came with some furniture and a few dolls.

I gave it a paint. - a few coats to cover some browns/reds/purple it has been painted previously. And after a trip to
Resene for paint it is now Spanish White, excluding the sliding doors and windows and the feature wall in the bedroom painted Vista Blue- which matches perfectly with the fabric I made little blankets from for the beds from
Sew Pretty. (also made 2 mattresses, set of sheets, pillows with cases)

I am really enjoying seeing the boys play pretend with the people and actually sitting down and playing house with each other and being so creative with their imaginations, and it also makes me notice how sturdy boys toys are made! Its a win for me and them!
