Its always fun to make a quilt for boys. This is for a baby shower gift and I love making quilts for new babies. I used fabric from my stash and having already made the boys quilts I had a few boys prints and lots of plain fabrics in bright colours.
I had Master B help me while I was working out how much fabric I needed

This front and back didn't take very long at all. I made the strips 5" wide so I didn't loose the images of the awesome boy prints I used and I just love the bright solid colours
I find it always takes the longest to iron all the seams and baste!

I took a while to get the tension on the machine sorted...but after a coffee and resetting the machine it worked perfectly!

After spending a few hours hand stitching on the binding.....giving it a wash and a spin in the dryer.....its finished!
