Its my birthday!!

I found this label on a pkt of hot cross buns

I woke this morning to breakfast in bed and gifts. Master B and Master W helped to open the wrapping paper. Master B wanted to open my lego and play with it!

We dropped the boys off to my parents for the day and I spent the day with Mr B at the Flower Show

I really enjoyed seeing so many beautiful flowers and gardens. I am feeling inspired to get stuck into my garden.

I had an awesome birthday- its always nice to do things you wouldn't normally do like be child free for a few hours, eat lunch out with Mr B, have a roast for dinner and of course have birthday cake and the best part was the boys singing me Happy Birthday!!

my fabric arrived....

I ordered some fabric a few months back... and I waited so patiently for it to arrive. I just ordered 14 half yards which is 6.4m of fabric and it is beautiful (I jumped with joy when the courier arrived) !! I ordered it from Form and Fabric.

generous *hearts*

I am so thankful for the kindness and love, generosity of people! I have been so glad to be helping with collecting and sorting items donated for the Fair. Its being held next Saturday 10th March 2012 at St Martins Anglican Church, 50 Lincoln Road Road. This has been set up as Facebook Event for more information. A fundraising page has also been set up here.

I have just finished making a quilt top (hope to have it quilted and finished this weekend) to be auctioned off at the Fair.

where did my week go?

I haven't touched my sewing machine in over a week. I have gotten a few other things done like dropping Master B off for his first day of school on Monday morning. No tears from either of us (very proud Mum moment). He has taken to it like a duck to water!

I have been slowly working on my Hexagon quilt... Loving the colours and really love the back.

I brought some new fabric from Sewpretty...its really nice- excited to sew something!

I made Carrot cake for the last day of February (very cool we get an extra day in the year) also note to self - dont make Carrot cake when grumpy- it was looking pretty sad. It did taste nice with the icing and dinosaur sprinkles.

Am enjoying the one on one time with Master W during the day and we are settling into the school routine in the mornings.
