I have made a start on next years ornaments. I came across these crochet ornaments and after borrowing some ends of white wool from a friend I made a start using up the ends of all the coloured balls I have.

Here's to an easy travel crochet project and I plan on making many more with different coloured middles.

Last year I created our very own advent pots. I have had really positive feed back about the pots from people who visited and saw them and also other bloggers with children and so many excited families ready to create their own. You can check out Miriams here.

We borrowed from the Toy Library a kiwi cricket set. The boys have had a blast while playing with us. We have simple rules. Five bowls each unless you get out and everyone takes turns. We are working hard at teaching the boys to share and also be gracious in defeat. No better time than now to teach them not everyone can win and everyone can have fun playing together!
