Our school holidays

We had a great 2 weeks of holidays.

A trip to Orana Park with friends.

A road trip to see Mr B's family in Dunedin. The boys travel so well!

We walked up Baldwin Street

I dropped my sunglasses at the top and the lenses fell out. The boys looked adorable wearing them!

We enjoyed being tourists!

Played Mini golf at Wal's plant land. Master W got a few hole in ones!

Master B did a great job keeping score.

The boys loved the farm. Feeding the calves, looking for eggs. brushing the horses, playing in the water and mud.

We went for a walk and the boys rode their scooters in the city. We explored and got to see the new cardboard Cathedral.

We had lots of time at home playing with friends, crafting and watching movies.

The best thing about the holidays is the memories an the fun adventures we get to have!

#NZMugSwap2013 post arrived

My parcel has arrived for the #NZMugSwap2013.

I really like the mug I got from Little Miss Frugal- cute and practical. I was very spoilt with all the other goodies that came in the package! Thanks!!!!

This is what I sent in my package to Little Miss Frugal a very retro orange duraware cup and  green plate, green and white crochet coasters, tea, coffee and a block of chocolate!

Op Shop Day

Last month we headed out of town for a crafty road trip. After having such a great day we began planning a Christchurch Op Shop day.

I started by putting 31 local Op Shops on a map (this is by no means ALL the Op Shops in Christchurch) this was some of the ones open on a Saturday and that that we could possibly get to in a few hours.

We met at Addington Co Op. Then went across the road to the Salvation Army Store then to the Salvation Army Furniture Store.

Next stop was Tasman Traders

Then off to Buchan street retro

We sheltered from the rain and had Lunch at The Brewery

Really enjoyed all the brick work at The Tannery 

Next was the $2 recycle warehouse then SPCA Op Shop- and who doesn't love 50% off!

Next was the Antique Shop Ferry Road

Then Allsorts Ferry Road

A total of 8 Op Shops. My finds for the day-  book, jeans, scarf, top, cardigan, dress and a fun day out with the girls!
