I couldn't resist and used my new fabric and made a small pouch to carry around my hexagons in. Love the colours!

I ordered some fabric a few months back... and I waited so patiently for it to arrive. I just ordered 14 half yards which is 6.4m of fabric and it is beautiful (I jumped with joy when the courier arrived) !! I ordered it from Form and Fabric.

Its finished and I *love* it! Its perfect- love the colours! Hope it finds a great new home over the weekend !

I am so thankful for the kindness and love, generosity of people! I have been so glad to be helping with collecting and sorting items donated for the Fair. Its being held next Saturday 10th March 2012 at St Martins Anglican Church, 50 Lincoln Road Road. This has been set up as Facebook Event for more information. A fundraising page has also been set up here.

I have just finished making a quilt top (hope to have it quilted and finished this weekend) to be auctioned off at the Fair.

Come to the Fair 10th March 2012 9am-2pm St Martins Anglican Church -50 Lincoln Road. Please spread the word. All money collected will be going to our good friend Vanessa and her family!

where did my week go?

I haven't touched my sewing machine in over a week. I have gotten a few other things done like dropping Master B off for his first day of school on Monday morning. No tears from either of us (very proud Mum moment). He has taken to it like a duck to water!

I have been slowly working on my Hexagon quilt... Loving the colours and really love the back.

I brought some new fabric from Sewpretty...its really nice- excited to sew something!

I made Carrot cake for the last day of February (very cool we get an extra day in the year) also note to self - dont make Carrot cake when grumpy- it was looking pretty sad. It did taste nice with the icing and dinosaur sprinkles.
