I'm still here. Life has been very busy full.

We are back into the full swing of the school term and after school activities.

I've signed up for a few swaps on instagram so I've been doing some sewing

I've just tried my hand in paper piecing to make a Tardis- boy it was hard!

As the weather is cooling down we are getting the most beautiful sunsets

this has been a great time to hand quilt in the evenings

and to quietly potter along adding items to my online shop.

I'm still taking a zillion photos for my Project Life pages

my boys are growing so fast I want to keep a track of it all.

So long story short. I am enjoying the full and the busy

and It's never a dull moment here.

seasons

Everything has a season

those of productivity and creativity- make and create

times when I want time to stop

times of growth and harvest

times of much needed rest and time out

times where traditions are important

times to marvel in amazement at the wonderful things you find washed up on the beach

the change of seasons

moments of love soaked in sunset

time for a family adventure that may have started at 5am

shopping to find things to add to our home

times when you want to move mountains and do everything possible to help our boys succeed

making time  to organise memories of our childhoods

and of course making sure to stop and smell the roses.

Relishing in the sunshine, planting up the garden, watching the boys play in the water and appreciating the time we have together xx

half triangles quilt

I started this many many half triangles quilt last year (**cough cough**) so much for getting it finished in 2014. But you know what- that is okay. I love how this quilt has turned out compared to my original vision.

The random patterns created are fun and striking.

I hand quilted it is simple lines of cream, white, teal, green and navy.

After finding a large piece of fabric from my stash for the back, it has been a perfect choice with the colours from the front of the quilt.

Finished quilt size is 41'' x 53''
