Wedding Quilt progress

Craft night has been very productive the last few weeks. I now have 11 1/2 strips made (need 13 total) for the front of the quilt.

Over the weekend I was able to cut long strips of black homespun cotton 2'' wide to go in between the strips I have already made.

This is what I have started with. One row of blocks and then a black strip either side to give you an idea. The aim is to get most of the black strips sewn to the block strips this week.

I now need to decide on backing fabric and if I hand quilt or machine quilt.
