hexagon quilt growing |
But now my wrist is better *jumps for joy* and we have had a busy year and lots of other projects I wanted to do and doing ones with less stress on my wrist.
Now have been thinking about and wondering what and how to finish this project.
I've decided what to do so now time to start unpicking.... and after buying some more fabric I feel inspired and want to try a few new ideas with the hexagons
I have a plan to make a whole quilt with hexagons as blocks but possibly not all the same print or colour scheme- so many ideas!!
Now to to find my hexagon shape to start cutting our hexagons and creating a new quilt top.
Love the new idea! When I first read that you were going to start unpicking, my mind went 'Noooooooo!' I loved the hexagons as they were but the sample block you made up makes them look fresh. Look forward to seeing the final product!
ReplyDeleteThanks!!
DeleteOhhhhhhhh NO don't unpick all that beautiful handiwork
ReplyDeleteIt's gorgeous !!!
Now I feel like I should stitch the hexagons to the top of a quilt and create a smaller quilt for the hexagons.
