Creative Robots
Master B turned 6. We celebrated his birthday with a Robot Themed Party.
I thought it would be an awesome activity to have the children who came to the party make their very own robots.
We went to Creative Junk and filled a bag.
Check out all the goodies from the bag.
I found awesome kits that would be perfect for Master B's birthday party activity.
We set up a building station
and they built.....
And created awesome robots
The wonderful thing about all this stuff is its reusable and so helps the boys be creative and we are using recycled materials!

6 Years old!!
Today Master B turns six. 6 years old! I blogged about his 5th Birthday last year.
My baby is now a six year boy who is so creative and full of life and so very brave!I am savoring the hugs and kisses and hand holding for as long as possible.
I feel so very proud of him.
He is a wonderful big brother (when they don't want the same thing at the same time)
He is my adorable cheeky monkey
And so funny when he pulls faces in photos
He can also be so serious and grown up
He is also very adventurous and brave.
Happy 6th Birthday Master B. We love you. Enjoy your new bike and please don't grow up to quickly.

fabric + crochet
I brought fabric to start this quilt from The Make cafe
I found some cotton yarn from Knitworld
I found this quilt for inspiration.
and made a start with 5 1/2'' blocks and sewing the cotton thread into the block before top stitching it closed
This one of my few attempts to get the corners nice and consistent....
but I have now settled on this.....
Getting the pile down slowly and now to decide how to join them together with the pink!
